Stone Maze

Maze Stone is the opening poem in a cycle of six called Sculpture at Margam by Hilary Llewellyn-Williams. The cycle first appeared in 1997 when it was published as part of her collection Animaculture.

There are two versions: One for soprano, clarinet and piano, and the other for soprano and small chamber orchestra there is also a version for soprano and small orchestra (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, harp and strings) Both versions were first performed by Sylvia Strand.
